Hello, my name is Jessica Sosa. I am a Spanish teacher and working as an ambassador for beauty and health care products from Monat.
I’m very excited to share my business life with you guys; I appreciate your work and your interest to cheer other women in the world; my little journey is in my home office.
- Where does your interest in entrepreneurship come from – how did you start?
I’m a retired lawyer life turned entrepreneur, + Spanish teacher from home, this is how I earn money from home. And, I always invite and help other women who are mothers, so that they can have the opportunity to work from home without having to go out and leave their children. My extreme desire to support other women inspired me to enter and start internet sales and now is my platform to help other women.
3. What makes your brand stand out in the market?
All the products made by Monat are natural, 100 vegans come from botanicals oils and natural plants, that’s works on your hair and body, and they keep you hydrated and provide health care all the time. The testimonials are so incredible and realist.
- What do you think is the toughest problem for businesswomen?
One of the biggest problems that women have when building their own job source is that the payments are unequal because we are women, we are discriminated against in some companies and you have the same position and do the same functions as you male partner you wonder why they pay you less ? Inequality and discrimination are there because they believe us inferior, but we are not and that is why we must fight and undertake.
- What’s a day in your life like as an entrepreneur?
My life-like an entrepreneur has changed for the positive since I have started, I motivate myself every morning! Sometimes it is very hectic between the phone and the computer. Add to that I have a baby girl to take care of and organize my day to be mental health.
- Who is your target audience? How do you keep your clients happy and satisfied?
Whenever my clients know about any product and use it, they fall in love with them. But I always recommend the specific products to people according to their needs. Besides, I also teach people using the product in the correct way for maximum benefits, how they can gain maximums discounts, and grab flash sales to save their money.

- After all this success and failure, what do you struggle with now?
After all, I accomplished now, I struggled every day to learn more about marketing tools and help more people achieve success and also financial income.
- How do you achieve a balance between your personal and professional life?
My balance between my personal and professional life is very committed because I take everything seriously and responsibly. I have determination in everything I do. That helps!
- What is your future plan to keep growing in the market?
My future plan to keep growing in the market is to learn to use social networks, social media intelligently and expand to reach more people to know the products that I sell.
- Tell me about a favourite book that inspires you.
My favorite book is about love, but if I have to choose one for my inspiration in life, this is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This book inspires me a lot to always follow my dreams and enjoy the process on the way of achieving them.
- What is your favourite quote?
Not for fear of making mistakes you are going to stop playing
- What piece of advice would you give to emerging woman entrepreneurs?
My advice to emerging entrepreneurs will always be- Not be afraid because everything that is desired with the heart and mind is achieved because the universe works together with your thoughts about what you want to achieve and how far you want to go. Always stay in constant work and be patient success comes only if you work constantly.
