My Favourite Drugstore Skincare Products: There are plenty of skincare products available in the market today. With so much to choose from, it seems overwhelming to find out which best ones to go for. While a lot of ladies love experimenting with the latest beauty products looks, they look for the tried and true skincare products for their morning and night-time routines.

Because of having sensitive skin and my skincare obsession, I have done a lot of research, read numerous articles, watched YouTube videos over the years and have found that some great products have stood the test of time for me. And, today I’m going to share My Favourite Drugstore Skincare Products and honest reviews on them as per my experience.

After washing, my dry to combination skin feels dry, so I make sure to moisturize my skin after using it. If you have dry skin, I won’t recommend it.

It removes my light to make up completely. The face wash works great in reducing acne. I have noticed an improvement in acne and breakouts. During the summer and rainy day, my skin generally gets oily after a few hours of face wash. But this face wash, I don’t see my face looking oily for 5-6 hours after use. Earlier, I tried many face washes, almost all products was leaving pimples on my face. I researched and reviewed a lot of products, and finally got this complete herbal solution, you will be surprised to see but this is completely natural. If you check its ingredients list, there is no ingredient that harms our skin.

One issue I found in this product is its fragrance of Neem and tea tree. The fragrance is a bit overpowering as it always irritates my sensitive nose. And I keep sneezing again and again after washing my face.

I use it on a daily basis as face refresher and toner. It does not only nourish the skin but also helps you to make your skin look young and healthy. The whole year, I carried this rose water in a spray bottle and spritzed whenever required.

 You can use this with any facepack to get rid of sunburns. In every face pack, I use rose water as a staple ingredient. The Multani Mitti and rose water combination is the most famous pack in India used mostly in the summer to keep the acne at bay.

Unlike other skincare products, this rose water comes at just 30 Rs; it is one of the most affordable ones. Let me tell you it does not make a radically different skin, but it is a staple product. And I personally love it.

I suffer some problems during travel due to its bad packaging. The bottle tends to leak. But because of its quality and affordable range, I find it okay to have an additional spray bottle. 

4. Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk

I had heard a lot about the benefits of cleansing one’s skin, and I thought to give Ayur a try. That time (approx. 7 years before), Ayur was one of the most reputed and popular products among Indian audiences. Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk is a lightweight formula and it doesn’t make my skin oily.

Although I have been using this product for a long time, I don’t see any “wow” factor. But ya, it helps me in keeping my skin clean. My skin is sensitive but I didn’t see any side effects of this product on my skin. This is the reason why I do not switch to any other product. And, it is in my CTM routine.

This door is good, I can’t say it as enchanting but it is decent enough. The packaging of the product is not so fancy, it comes in a plastic bottle.

Starting from its cover, PACKAGING of the product is not fancy and you can’t even expect that from an Rs50 product but it comes in a plastic bottle and it is quite firm.

5. H&H Dermadew Aloe Cream

I use H&H Dermadew Aloe Cream as a daily moisturizing cream. It was also prescribed by my doctor as I had dry skin. I am quite impressed with its long-lasting effect.

 Though the company claims to reduce scars, I have not found even a bit of improvement in my skin. But that’s okay because its work is to moisturise the skin and keep it nourished and this product is doing it very well. An additional advantage of this product is its affordable cost.

I have started this product recently before I was using the popular Nivea Soft Moisturiser. I had been using this product since I was a teenager. There is only a single issue I have with this body lotion is that my skin starts to feel dried after sometime during winter and I have to apply it in 3-4 hours. It may be because my skin becomes dry during the winter season.

This is my favourite lip balm. This is a white-collared lip balm with a soft and balmy texture. It applies smoothly on the lips. The moment I apply this product on my lips, its sheer lip balm colour changes to a beautiful soft pink shade; this is what makes me fall for it. Another good thing about this product is that it does not feel sticky and overly glossy.

In my experiments, I tried numerous lip balms but I was not happy with fragrance. I was looking for something pleasant; I got this with Maybelline Baby Lips. Like rose water, it is also an all-purpose cream for minor cuts and bruises to dry and chapped lips to dry patches of skin.

I use this cream on my lips as a night cream for my lip. I apply a thick layer of boroline before going to bed. And I must say from the time I started using this product my lips appear at least 60% less dry & rough than before.

I believe everyone should have the latest tube of boronline. You can use it anywhere in dry areas like feet, elbows, cuticles etc. And trust me you will see a huge difference after a few. As per my personal experience, Boroline cream is able to heal chapped bleeding lips. The best way to use it is by applying its thick layers & leaving it overnight. This is the only reason why I don’t use Boronline as my regular lip balm.

You are aware of the benefits of almond oil. Almond oil makes skin and hair soft and smooth. It provides deep nourishment and keeps hydrated. I use this oil as a finishing product for my skin. Instead of using any night cream, I use this oil only and apply it on my face including under-eye skin.

Night cream makes a huge difference in the skin, so it should be the best one. I did a lot of research and found this product the right one. It feels a little oily that makes it good to use  at night. It never feels sticky and doesn’t cause any pimples. It gives a natural and noticeable glow.

The Dabur Almond oil comes in a glass bottle with a tin cap. Due to this old-style packaging, I don’t find it travel-friendly. I keep this product also in a plastic bottle while travelling.
