Look in the mirror and love what you see. None is perfect in this world. Accept the fact that you will never be what society expects you to be. Do not let anyone dictate your life. That only leads to a predictable, boring, mediocre, and miserable life. Do what makes you happy instead of just dreaming about it.

Take Accountability

Be accountable for your actions. Many people believe that they are victims of their situations. It is not about taking accountability for the decision you have made and how you got to where you are now. But it is about owning your situation and start evaluating your life right now.

  1. Yeah, the dreaming phase is fun, in the planning phase you’re wracked with self doubt or overwhelmed with all that needs to be done, but it’s in the acting phase that you begin to build the confidence that propels you way past your initial dreams. Thanks for this post.

  2. I’m a big procrastinator. Meditation and burning oils helps me focus. This was a great read!! Thanks for the tips

  3. Great article. We keep taking the next step, then the next step … I like the way you address … “When you start something different, you will have a lot of people who will try to pull you down”. Even if people don’t try to pull you down, you won’t always have the support of those that are closest to you. Like you say we rise above it and take that next step …

  4. This such a great post. You give really great tips. Taking accountability is an especially hard one for most people. But once you do you can take control and get going.

  5. This is great! I used to HATE one of my last 9-5’s and I would be at the gym before work dreaming about what it would be like to work for myself at home while hanging out with my kids…Then COVID came and I was forced to stay home and I used it as an opportunity to see if it was possible to not go back to a 9-5 and HERE I AM! I own an LLC blog while I’m a SAHM of 2! Love it! JUST DO IT! Best advise!

  6. What’s crazy is I daydream more about conversations and situations than I do about goals and my future. But I do agree with you – daydreaming is kinda useless when it comes to goals You have to get out there and do it!

  7. Thank you for this wake up call. I agree with you that it is time we stop daydreaming and start working on our goals. It is indeed very important that we take accountability and make things happen for us instead of simply waiting for the situation to improve.

  8. Ignoring others negativity and doing what you want, reaching for your dreams, is the first step to your own success.
